Vital is a wearable that provides various medical assistances for the user: blood glucose measurement, health data monitoring, automatic medicine reminder, and fall detection aid.

Based on existing new technology, the clasp encloses a non-invasive blood-glucose level monitor that does not require a needle to get a result. It measures through the part of the palm where the index finger and thumb meet. This method is more efficient and convenient as opposed to the traditional needle-blood drop test.

It also monitors your heart rate, pulse, physical stress, and movement data. The results are continuously uploaded to an artificial intelligent cloud-based system that analyses the data in real-time. The health data is accessible to the user’s doctor. In case of a break in the regular health pattern, it automatically alerts the user’s doctor for necessary action.

In addition, it automatically notifies the user of necessary medications to take, which the doctor remotely controls. This is to help seniors who live alone and have dementia who cannot properly follow their doctor’s orders.
